ABOUT US

       The first biochar production facility is in Uzunkopru / EDIRNE (TR), latitude and longitude are 41,1155°E & 26,6518°N. In this region there are 45.000 hectares of rice paddy, 120.000 hectares of sunflower fields, 39 pcs rice mills and 13 pcs sunflower oil mills. As a result of these agriculture activity & its industry, 750.000 tons of waste & residues are generated annually, and these can be utilized as feedstock (biomass) for biochar production.

       The short-term goal is to obtain 100.000 tons of feedstock (biomass) in the region and process to 30,000 tons biochar and renewable energy as well as 60.000 tons CO₂ sequestration annually.

        As for the medium & long-term goals are to increase the number of facilities to process 300.000 tons of feedstock(biomass).

        All activities in the goals are planned to avoid fossil fuels, instead utilize renewable energy sources from cradle to grave, including logistics of raw materials, products and facilities’ operations.
